TAKING IT EASY

Finally have some time to relax and chill the fuck out. It has been a long exhausting four months; but it is over now and I can catch up on sleep, laundry and life.

Shannin, I will be calling you very soon so we can hunker down and get wasted. I have been wanting to meet you for the longest time. Miz E, I have a new story for La Femme brewing, it will be posted soon.

One thing that infuriated me during this past tax season was the number of deadbeat parents who claimed their children as dependants and provided no support for them. The people who took care of these children could not get the money they deserved because the deadbeats had beaten them to the punch. I advised the people to file fraud claims. Some took my advice and some did not.

During the off season I plan to work more on my writing, my body and collect unemployment for a spell. I will return to work eventually but not right now. I need a real break from the 9 to 5 rat race.

Well friends thatv is it for now, I will be posting again very soon.

The Final Goodbye

1 year ago today my niece Brittany took her own life in the Clark County Juvinile Detention Center. Since then changes have been made to ensure that this tragedy never happens again. With federal and state funds, Nevada has been abel to hire mental health workers who will be devoted to the cause of adolescent suicide prevention and awareness. Sine Brittany's death, her mother Lynette positively channeled her pain anger and grief to demand change in Nevada's deeply flawed mental healh system.

Today however we were gathered together; family and friends to finally lay Brittany to rest and to let go just a little bit. She will FOREVER be in the hearts and minds of all the lives she has touched and changed. Below is a account of the service and the emotions I felt during it.

It was a sunny but breezy spring morning. They were all there; family and friends to finally lay to rest their beloved daughter, sister and friend. They sat there thinking and reflecting on the memories of the dearly departed. As they sat, tears were shed and thoughts of the departed filled their minds and hearts. As the service progressed friends and family were asked to share their stories and how their lives have been affected. Music was played and poems read to honor her. We sat there thinking she should be here with us and that her death should not have happened.

After memories were shared and the last tear shed, they all assembled to say one last goodbye and she was finally laid to rest. They assembled one last time to release a baloon hoping it will reach her at her final resting place.

This is my final message to you Brittany. I hope your soul is finally at peace. I wish I could have reached out to you when I could have. I will have to live with that forever. Even in death you have had an impact on so many lives.

"You are now her angel dressed in white, You don't live in darkness but in Heaven's light." Marie A. Coppla

32 DAYS AND COUNTING!!!

It is almost over and I cannot be more relieved. I have learned from this experience that I am not cut out for management. I will NOT be doing this again next year. I liked it better when I was just an advisor. I hope I will have enough of a bonus so I can take a small trip somewere. I have never been to LA, anyone want to come with me?

I recieved the book containing my poems. I cannot tell you how great it felt to see my name and my work in print. I guess I have established myself as an artist; that I am overjoyed about. After tax season ends, I will be working on getting a complete book of my poetry published. I also have plans to create a blog exclusively to my poetry and the book. I hope my readers will still be around to read it; that is if I still have any readers left.

I am sad that I have lost a couple of readers(you know who you are); but with that said I have gained several new ones and they ROCK!! Well people that is it for now. Please everybody take care.

STILL HERE

It is mid way through tax season and I am still here. I am surprised and shocked that the stress has not killed me yet. I have not forgot about all of my blogger friends. I miss you guys a lot. I have not gotten much sleep, my apartment is dirty, have piles of laundry and I am still broke. It seems I am back where I started. I am happy that I have met a couple of new friends. That is the best reward of all. Please everybody take care.

Here I Go Again!

It is getting crazy again. I need some Xanax and right quick. I am going to slap the shit out of people and our "peak " season has not begun yet. I need to vent; so friends please indulge me.

I have these two people who are working for me who do things the way they want them done. They do not listen to me or follow the rules. They keep telling me that the manager I replaced did it this way. I was ready to say well bitches there is a new sheriff in town and she is willing to kick your fucking ass all the way to the front door. Of course I kept my cool and maintained professionalism. And one of these people pissed off one of my other staff members. I think it is time for a little aggessiveness on my part and let these people know who the fuck is in charge. We have a thing for people like this and it is called "corrective counseling." I am working 12+ hours a day 7 days a week and the last thing I need is to deal with funky attitudes. That is bullshit.

In other news, the car is running great. I recently had a CD player installed and the windshield replaced. Since I am working at least 7 days a week it is hard for me to keep appointments and get things done that I need to. I have creditors up my asshole again. Leave me the fuck alone! Well friends that is my little rant for this evening. I am going to eat have a nother beer and go to bed. Take care.

Things I Need To Survive Tax Season

Yes friends it is that time of the year again. Waiting for them W2's and a whole lot of headaches. There are many changes to the tax laws in regards to dependants to qualify for certain filing statuses. Go to irs.gov for more info. My headaches are not with actually filing my 2005 return but other shit I am forced to cope with. Below is a list of things I am going to need to survive tax season 2006.

Xanax-I am a super stress puppy. I need to relax and calm down.

Ambien-I need plenty of sleep. Fat chance in hell I am going to get it.

Budweiser-Who the fuck says you cannot do taxes while under the influence.

Rogaine-If you think the Depakote is losing my hair-wait about 3 weeks I will be pulling it out instead of combing it.

Marajuana-Will work better than the Xanax. Yippie!!!

Patience-I hope it will stop me from kicking the ever loving shit out of some dumb ass client who REALLY dererves it.

No funcky egos , attitudes or high maintainence from my staff. It is a whole diffrent ballgame now So GET OVER IT!!!

Well friends there is my list . This sleeping pill is kicking in so I must bid you all goodnight. I will post again on Sunday; it is my only day of total rest. Until then;take care everybody.

New Car, Beer& Champange

Me Looking Pretty...NOT!!!

As promised here is my New Year post. The day started off great. I finally got a new car. A Red 2005 Dodge Neon. I like the car a lot and it drives great. The pic was taken at Charlie Holder in Henderson where I went to a Keraoke gig my brother was hosting. I had several beers and glasses of champange. I ate dinner first so I did not get drunk (just a buzz) or sick. I met a lot of really cool people and did some dancing; champange toast at midnight and then more beer.

Have been busy with my new office manager job to catch up on blogging. I am responsible for setting up my office and training my staff. Some days I am working 12+ hours a day. There are days that I do not have time to eat. Who the fuck forgets to eat? Oh well. I have not had time to do laundry, clean my house or take down my holiday decorations. I guess this will be a busy tax season indeed. I am hoping tomorrow evening I will be catching up on my blogging.

I would like to say to all my blog friends that I have not forgotten about you guys; and judging from the recent comment from Genelle (Miz E) that you all have not forgotten about me which is nice to know. Well friends it is off to bed for me. I have another training session at the office at 9am. Everybody please take care and I will catch up with you all soon.
